Nita O. (Dennis) Shockey was born, one of identical twins, on May 25, 1962. After a long illness, she passed from this life to the Glory of the next on March 20, 2009. Her husband Wayne, son Dusty and daughter Ashley, all of the home, survive her. She is also survived by her brother, Ronnie and wife Brenda; sister Carla; and Nita's identical twin, Rita and her husband Robert Koos. In addition, survivors include two nephews, Jeremy and his wife Sara, and his brother Joshua; two nieces, Raini and Autumn; two great nieces, Hailey and Carlee; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death and welcomed into Paradise by her mother, Margie, and her father, Carl Lee Dennis. Nita was a lifelong resident of Del City. She worked for many years as a Medical Assistant Instructor for Vatterott College in Oklahoma City. Nita loved the life and family God blessed her with and was happiest when she was with her family, both immediate and extended. She, in turn, was a blessing to each of those she has left behind. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. However the seperation will not be final, for the promise of our Lord and Savior assures us we will meet her again in Paradise with our Lord Jesus, in whose presence she now joyfully rests. Services will be at 2pm Mon., March 23rd at Candlewood Chapel under direction of Ford Funeral Service.
